WINTER BREAK PRODUCTIVITY

Winter break is my time off from school and the real world. I’m not planning on being productive being honest. But in order for me to get credit in blogging, I have to write about some ways I’m going to be productive during break. Let’s get into the list. One way I’m being productive is by cleaning my room everyday because why not. Or doing my laundry. My room doesn’t get messy, but my bed never gets made. Adding that to the list! I am also going to try spending less than 4 hours on technology, lets see how that goes. Oh! I have an idea. Cleaning my guinea pig cage. If I didn’t tell you, I have two male guinea pigs. That is another way I am going to try being productive during winter break.

INCENTIVE DAY

I N C E N T I V E  D A Y. I am quite excited for incentive day. Especially because I get to participate. There were many options given that you could’ve voted for. For example, there was board game room, BORING. Craft room, BORING. Open gym, we get that everyday for recess, BORING. Tech room, BINGOOOO! In my opinion, tech room sounds best. There are many many many things you can do in there. Either you bring your phone and go on a favorite app of yours. Or you bring school iPad or home iPad and just play games on Safari or watch YouTube. Along with the option of playing on Ms. Caps Xbox. Incentive Day is on Thursday. It’s based around the idea that if you did good during M A P  test with either moving up or reaching your goal, you get a 30 minute period to do whatever you chose.

*MAKEUP* SECOND QUARTER GOALS

My second quarter goals have already been achieved. My first goal was to go higher for M A P testing. Which I already did. My second goal was to finish seven books or more. That’s really all I can think of being honest. I guess I will make a new one... To complete every blog that is given in ELA! Considering I have to make this blog up, why not. So far I’m doing really well completing my blogs, and being honest... I kind of remembered I didn’t do a blog for the week of Thanksgiving. But I just felt like I needed a break. Sorry Ms. Haury! Whoops. And the blogs in my opinion seem so boring! I never liked blogging, maybe that’ll be another one of my goals for second quarter. Even though its almost over. Who knows, maybe I can show growth/ a change of heart in eight days. In conclusion, my second quarter goals are to complete every blog, and like blogging in general.

FOREGIVENESS

F O R E G I V E N E S S. I believe ion my opinion it’s a process of acceptance. If you were to do something wrong to one another, it would take time to be forgiven. Most people could forgive, but they won’t forget. I think its something to learn from. In not all cases will you be foregiven. Me personally, I would TRY and choose to forgive, depending on the situation. But in other times, payback is my forgiveness. So then we’re fair. There have been times were it’s not as easy to forgive. For example, when I accidentally broke my sisters” favorite mug, or ate her taffy apples. She never forgave me, but she was still nice to me, (somewhat). As I said before, it is a process. So don’t expect F O R E G I V E N E S S  right away. Or don’t expect it at all.

HONESTY

H O N E S T Y. Being truthful to somebody or someone. I think  H O N E S T Y  is important in different cases. For example, during the Christmas time, there are presents. Lots of em’. And if you know who or what presents are, you wouldn’t want to spoil the gift. In that case, you would need to lie. If they were to ask. Now on the other hand, if it were a case more important that could change something or someone, be  H O N E S T. In a serious situation, like a run in with the law (using for extreme measures), you would obviously need to be honest. You would be surprised what’s the end results are. If you don’t be honest, you could get into more trouble than you already were. To end this blog, I have different opinions about  H O N E S T Y, and when its best to use it. But I do believe it is important to be honest. Most of the time..

SLICE OF LIFE

My  S L I C E  O F  L I F E  happened just right now. As I’m typing this sentence. I’m currently in the homework mood, and getting all of my work done. While eating a Hershey’s bar, and drinking tea. I’m jamming out to music while hearing my brother slam my door. I hate siblings. No offense, but they’re a pain to deal with. I’m trying to be productive, trying to get my work done, but I can’t. All because of my oldest brother. Trying to find every way possible to distract me. For example, he just walked into my room saying “I’m going into my thinking hole.” Which is my closet by the way. To remind you, he’s 20 years old. Sure doesn’t act like it. He’s still in there, how can he keep himself occupied for that long?? Out he goes. This blog post might be trash because I hate slices of life’s, but as long as it’s done by tomorrow I don’t care. Maybe when I see a one on my report card, I’ll regret this. But until then, I don’t! My parents are currently gone going Christmas shopping, and the

MAP TESTING

M A P  testing. The worst week of my school life, normally. But the tables turned this week. I actually did good! Went up more points than I can count. I’m mostly proud of my math M A P  score. I thought I would die. But I didn’t! I’m here right now, obviously. I went up by nine points, that’s some major growth. Especially since it’s math, I’m even more proud. I’m also surprisingly good at geometry I guess. I scored 228 points in that category. Now onto reading, day two. I wasn’t as surprised that I went up because reading and I are calm. Best friends. I got lucky and landed on my goal, going up four points. In my opinion, I dislike the reading test the most. It makes me tired every time reading the stories. Anyone else agree?? Less questions that the two tests though, so I guess I can’t complain a lot. Final day, E L A. Same as reading, I did good. Ms. Haury is teaching me well. I got the highest score out of all the tests, 228. This one felt hard to me, because I hate correcting

SUPERHERO

My superhero’s name is, Gerald. Yes, Gerald. He is a 22 year old from London. He used to be a science teacher, but his career took a wrong turn. One day, one of his students spilled a chemical. At first, he just got a tiny rash on his arm. Which led to much worse. The chemical led to him shapeshifting. That made him think that no one would ever love him, so he became a single Pringle. But he had many great features. 5’6, gray eyes, brown hair. Mannnyyy great features. But he also has flaws. Like itching his butthole, oh Gerald. He needs money so he still works despite his powers. He makes $15,000 a week. His greatest fear is shapshifting in public, and frogs. But that’s not important. Since his science dilemma happened, he became more self conscious. But that hasn’t stopped him from conquering the world!
