SLICE OF LIFE

Brianna and I were outside at 6:00 PM letting her ride my bike while I was playing music. We walked down the steps of Claire’s house and we were off! I had previously gotten to Claire’s house by riding my bike. Little did I know I would take a new recruit (Brianna) home once I was done for a bit. We got my bike and right away made a decision, she would ride my bike home. Brianna first got on my bike anxiously saying “I haven’t rode a bike in a while!” Yet she let go of all of her nervousness and then she was gone. Meanwhile I was there by her side, silently hoping she wouldn’t run into me. As you can assume, I had nothing to do. Therefore, I started playing music. Right as I clicked on my playlist, I knew which song I wanted to play. One of our favorites,  “Ain’t Nobody Takin My Baby”. Soon it felt like the night had turned around and it had felt like a lifetime moment. Time passed, Brianna kept riding and before I knew it we were at our destination. My house.

ARGUMENTATIVE ESSAY

All schools should start a littler later. 75 percent of schools start earlier than 8:30 AM in more than 40 states. If times were to be pushed a little later to attend to school, there would be much more participation in classrooms because the students would feel more energized. As well as grades would go up. And maybe an increase in attendance and less tardies. Some students would like the time to be pushed and it’s not only a win for them, but those who drive. More students awake on the road means less car accidents. And, more time to get ready! UPDATE: JUST KIDDINNNGGG! I switched my topic to changing gun laws :/ UPDATE AGAIN: JUST KIDDDINNG IM SWITHCING BACK AGAIN! :)

Personally, I don’t have a side that I go for. I have many reasons on why I support both sides. So, I’ll start with NO. No school uniforms. In the article, “Should Schools Tell You How to Dress” by Anna Starecheski, it claims that “Isn’t learning how to dress the right way an important skill”. I do agree with the that statement, but I don’t think that there really is a “proper” way to dress. Or the “right way”. Yes, there are some things that agree with that it’s better to look nice and presentable. But, I don’t think student should have to wear knee high skirts, pencil pants and suits all day.  I also believe that most girls are targeted and affected when uniforms are inforced compared to boys. The rules are harder towards girls. For example, our dress code is no tank tops, short shorts, short skirts and of course to wear your uniform. For the boys’ dress code, the most affective dress code rule is no muscle shirts. Then again, me personally I don’t think I’d want to wear skimpy cl

S N O W - DAY

As most of you know, we had a snow day last week Friday. And I did  n o t h i n g. Therefore, I am just going to talk about what I did on Saturday. I went with my older sister (she’s 18) to get her third tattoo. It was a spontaneous type of adventure. I was originally not supposed to go. But that’s the time of when she got the phone call, I was miraculously there- that’s why it was spontaneous. So I said, “hey why not”. Now I was very curious to see what she was getting and how it would happen. She seemed to know what she wanted and how.  And before I tell you what it was, it has nothing to do with the Illuminati. She got four triangles on the back of her arm above her elbow. They all meant something special. Challenge, learn, connect and explore. So techinically, it was her sixth tattoo. And that wasn’t the end of it. I’m coming with her for another adventure to get her fourth on Friday. In my opinion, she took it like a champ (hehe TWD reference).  It took about 45 minutes. Overal
