BOOK REVIEW- SUBSTITUTE POST/ SLICE OF LIFE

Yesterday, Brianna came over after school and we went on another adventure. Why you ask? To prepare ourselves for PARCC today. We were on a hunt for mints, but we ended up getting extra goodies. Our first stop was the gas station. There we got chocolate raisins, jolly rancher chews and sour patch kids. Took us a while to make up our minds but after a good while, we took all of our  goodies and payed. NEXT STOPIT ! We went to ANOTHER gas station across the street to try and look for the mints. No luck. Our final stop, we went to 7- Eleven. We lucked out! Two bags were hanging on the rack. But of course, we bought one more goodie. Hershey’s Cookies and Cream chocolate bar. Yummm! Our mission was complete. As a submission, we needed to cross the bussiest street ever! SUCCCEEEESSSSSS!

SLICE OF LIFE

My slice of life. There's not a lot of my life to write about, because... I live a kinda boring life. Just being honest. But yesterday, I did something. So I was at my grandparents house. And, I had a lot of homework. But, I was with my whole family. That's very rare. Either my sister is working, or my dad can't make it. Whatever the case is, we're not all together. But yesterday, we were. Oddly enough. So, I was trying to do my homework, and block out the noise that I was hearing. But let me tell ya, that's very hard. So instead of trying to block it out, and distract myself. I just didn't do my homework at that moment yesterday. Instead, I ran into the kitchen to try and eat something. I ended up not even eating a full meal. I ate jello. But hey, at least I didn't starve. I really don't know what the point of this blog is, as I've mentioned before. I HAVE to do this.

END OF THE YEAR FEELS

We have two and a half weeks left of school. I’ve accomplished things, and i haven’t accomplished things. At the end of the year, i guess I needed to learn to put my best effort forward. At the end of the year I noticed that I stop putting my effort forward because it’s almost over. Ive had a lot of fun memories, and a lot of bad ones. Can’t wait to see what 7th grade brings.

3 POSITIVES OF THIS WEEK

As many of you know, MAP testing is this week. There are many negatives and positives to testing. One example is our schedules are messed up. Classes our moved around. Another example similar to classes being messed up is classes are shorter. Sometimes they’re cut down by 10, 20 or even 30 minutes. The final example is MAP is only for three days, compared to PARCC which lasted a lot longer.
