FREE WRITE

Again I have no ideas in mind to write about, but I do have a special event happening after school. I’m going to visit my old fifth grade teacher, Ms. Van Wyk. But that’s not the end of it. My friends and I are going to get a pass so that we can go possibly tomorrow during lunch, if everything works out. I’m actually quite excited, but every time I do try going, she’s not there. Therefore I’m hoping and praying that she’ll still be at school at the end of the day. I only partially want to go because there’s nothing to do during lunchtime, some of the tables don’t even get to go. This time around though there’s not going to be a whole bunch of people... I hope.

FAVORITE COUNTRY

My favorite country is  I r e l a n d  believe it or not. Why you may ask. Well, I was born on Saint Patrick’s Day (March 17). So, I’ve just always had an interest in Ireland. Ireland was founded on April 24, 1916. It is also the 19th most popular country, WOW! I feel like Ireland is kind of a underrated country, or island. But to me, it will be my favorite country. Until the 51 state comes, then we will see. https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ireland

Personally, I don’t have a side that I go for. I have many reasons on why I support both sides. So, I’ll start with NO. No school uniforms. In the article, “Should Schools Tell You How to Dress” by Anna Starecheski, it claims that “Isn’t learning how to dress the right way an important skill”. I do agree with the that statement, but I don’t think that there really is a “proper” way to dress. Or the “right way”. Yes, there are some things that agree with that it’s better to look nice and presentable. But, I don’t think student should have to wear knee high skirts, pencil pants and suits all day.  I also believe that most girls are targeted and affected when uniforms are inforced compared to boys. The rules are harder towards girls. For example, our dress code is no tank tops, short shorts, short skirts and of course to wear your uniform. For the boys’ dress code, the most affective dress code rule is no muscle shirts. Then again, me personally I don’t think I’d want to ...

Once, there was a skeleton named, Gerald. Gerald lived in small house with his human family. Many just thought he was a still living skeleton, oh but were they wrong. When the kids would go to school, he would have a blast! Eat all their snacks, play with all their toys. But there was one problem, THE PARENTS. They normally got out of work early. So the party would always end early. And when they got home, the house would be a hugeeee messs! Of course their first conclusion was a burglary. So, they set up cameras around the house. Not only for the kids’ safety, but for the whole family’s safety. But, Gerald didn’t know about the cameras. Uh oh. He went along with his daily routine on the first day the cameras installed. Of course, he left it a mess. The parents came back from work, and checked the cameras. To find Gerald!? Once the parents saw the footage, they were shocked. They went into one of the little boys’ room, where Gerald layed. Stared blankly at him. And placed a camer strai...
